BHARATANATYAM
The dance wing of URise India Foundation is known for the level of perfection in training imparted to its students. The young ones are made to learn and understand the art forms with a completely different approach. The classes have intense training sessions and the students are taught to practise in a very professional manner.
The method of practice and training has been developed by Anjana Ramesh Sarma through her study of Yoga and other Dance disciplines. The training encompasses a structured and specifically designed practice that develops awareness of body alignment. Each child is moulded and guided individually through the training process. They are encouraged to work on ‘Out of the box’ thinking, keeping their imagination and creativity alive.
Our classes cater to children and adults, offering a structured yet engaging learning experience rooted in tradition and strong technique.
For young learners, we create a fun and inspiring environment where they develop a strong foundation in movement, rhythm, and music. Alongside learning the traditional Adavus and Margam, they explore body alignment and movement through structured exercises, creative activities, and interactive learning methods. This approach ensures they build confidence while mastering the art form.
For adults, whether you are a beginner or someone looking to rekindle your love for dance, we offer customized training based on your experience and goals. Our adult Bharatanatyam classes are designed for passionate and committed learners, including working professionals, with flexible timings based on availability. The training is a blend of theory and practice, helping students not just learn the movements but also understand the science and depth behind Bharatanatyam.
With both online and offline options, learning Bharatanatyam at URise India Foundation is accessible, immersive, and deeply enriching. No matter where you are in your dance journey, we welcome you to experience the joy of this timeless art form with us.
